Family Favorite Recipe: Cheese Capers
28 Feb
Growing up, there was one appetizer at every Moore family party. You could count on Cheese Capers making an appearance at every holiday party and every Super Bowl Sunday. I still make these just for fun when I’m craving a little slice of home, and now I’m sharing the deliciousness with all of you!
First, preheat the oven to 350 degrees and lay out your English muffins on a baking sheet.
Then, mix your ingredients together.
I’m not a huge fan of olives, but you can obviously use more than the 6 I used. I also like to add the juice from the olive jar.
Spread the mix evenly over the 12 English muffin halves.
And sprinkle the tops with parmesan cheese.
Place baking sheet in the oven for 15-18 minutes.
Ta da!!! Easy, cheesy, gooey goodness in less than 20 minutes! And they’re such a crowd pleaser. These will be your next “go to” party favorite!
Cheese Capers
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup mayo (I used light mayo when calculating the WW points)
1/4 cup chopped yellow onion
2 tbsp. chopped olives (or more if you’re a big fan!)
6 English muffins
1 tbsp. parmesan cheese
Mix above ingredients except parm and muffins. Spread evenly on muffin halves. Sprinkle parmesan cheese on top. Bake 15-18 minutes at 350 degrees.
WW Points Plus= 5 points per muffin half
Enjoy! And if you end up making these, let me know what you think!

MMmmm…I LOVE cheese and olives together. This sounds like the perfect lazy Sunday afternoon snack to me!
